Testimonials

  • “I had the pleasure of working with Belinda on the development of a Strategic Community Plan for the Serpentine Jarrahdale Shire. Belinda was a wonderful team member, bringing terrific communication skills, a strong knowledge of local government and absolute commitment to the task. She is highly organised and an excellent project manager. Belinda’s talent for planning and ability to predict hurdles before they arise meant that the project always flowed smoothly. Belinda is a highly competent workshop facilitator, with plenty of experience and facilitation techniques to draw on… As a team, we delivered the Strategic Community Plan on time, with a very satisfied client. I would jump at the chance to work with Belinda again, and I would recommend her to any of my clients without hesitation.”

    Jo Hunter, Pollen Strategy
  • “Belinda Coghlan was Lead Facilitator with the Farm Business Resilience Program run by Curtin University which successfully developed and delivered critical parts of the Pilot of Drought Reform Measures for the Australian and Western Australian government’s. Belinda was able to effectively step into the role of leading delivery teams and facilitated the learning program to achieve very good Strategic Plans for farmers across WA. We were able to use her extensive knowledge in change management, strategic planning and workshop design to make continual improvements to the program. I would highly recommend Belinda for her comprehensive skills in delivering facilitated learning programs.”

    John Noonan, Program Director, Curtin University, WA
  • “Belinda and I worked together on the award winning Farm Business Resilience program. Often we were working with farmers who were under immense pressure, dealing with tough seasons, generational change and the challenges of running a seasonally-dependent, isolated family business. Through this I really enjoyed working with Belinda and here are my ‘Top Four’ reasons why:
    · She’s 100% reliable – when Belinda commits, I know she’ll deliver;
    · She’s responsible – Belinda will take on a challenge and see it through;
    · Belinda knows people – she’s down to earth and has the knack of combining a straight forward approach with real empathy; and
    · Belinda has an excellent bank of knowledge and expertise that I can draw on in any situation.”

    Andrew Huffer, Andrew Huffer & Associates
  • “The input, interest and energy in the values workshop today was fantastic and illustrated a strong management team and healthy (although very stretched) organisation. Thanks for your facilitation work Belinda.”

    Dean Unsworth, CEO, Shire of Murray
  • “Thanks Belinda, I am so grateful you have pulled the Business Plan together so well and so quickly. Really appreciate it.”

    Shelley Sprigg, Northern Agricultural Catchment Council (NACC) WA.
  • Belinda Coghlan was contracted under OD Consulting Services to work with Pollen Strategy and undertook a substantial part (52%) of this project. “Pollen were engaged to prepare a new Strategic Community Plan for Council. Pollen undertook extensive community engagement and listened to the community. Positive feedback was received from the community and elected members on the success of these meetings and outcomes we achieved. Pollen worked very hard with Council officers and elected members to understand our priorities, community aspirations and vision. Pollen were very approachable for advice and professional at all times. They met their project timelines and gave regular progress reports to Council. I would recommend Pollen for similar work in the area of strategic and corporate planning, vision setting and community engagement.”

    Brad Gleeson, Planning Director, Serpentine Jarrahdale Shire
  • Thank you once again for your assistance in planning and facilitating our Grain Product Laboratory staff development day. We have been receiving positive feedback and feel that the event was very successful on a number of planes.

    Stefan Harasymow, Department of Agriculture and Food, Western Australia
  • Belinda was a great supporter during my time serving as Human Resources Coordinator. Belinda was instrumental in providing me with a sounding board for all Human Resources and Leadership matters. Her unique ability to recognise, understand, and explain complex business relationships developed my thinking, and most importantly, my actions. Belinda’s  mentoring continued to make me a better person and leader in HR. Belinda  did not hesitate to tactfully, but directly point out areas that I needed to consider in a different way or to use a different approach, and in return this gave me the confidence I need to be able to have HR recognised as an important part of the organisation. Belinda definitely left a positive mark on my career which at this time was only at the beginning stages. I see her as one of the contributors to the success that I enjoy as a Human Resources/Organisational Development professional today.

    Davina Sandhu, Manager Strategy & People Services, Shire of Kalamunda
  • “Belinda Coghlan’s OD Consulting Services has assisted AEGIC to successfully establish strong human resource foundations in a business start-up environment. This involved assisting to transition staff from DAFWA to AEGIC, employment of new staff, development of organisational structure, employee operating policies and procedures, job descriptions, integrated performance management and implementing a systematic, inclusive approach to transitioning the organisation to its own workplace culture and values. Belinda can best be described as an organisational development facilitator who cares about high quality service delivery and results. As a result AEGIC is an organisation with its own unique personality and a highly motivated, focused and productive workforce intent on delivering excellence.”

    Richard Price, Managing Director, Australian Export Grains Innovation Centre (AEGIC)
  • The team at OD Consulting Services have been working with our company to improve our HR systems to strengthen our corporate governance. I have been extremely impressed with their ability to listen, analyse and deliver a solution that was unique to our needs and budget. We now have a robust performance management system with cascading key performance indicators which has not only mitigated risk but built Manager capability to lift and focus staff productivity. This has included building an HR information system with tiered access and highly professional HR templates and protocols linked to our strategic objectives. I would have no hesitation in recommending OD Consulting Services to other SME’s out there who need HR support. (November 2016)
